Density Reference Standard Beads (DRSB)
Density Reference Standard Beads are necessary for Adjustment and Calibration of the Cedex cell analyzers. The DRSB are used to perform a one-point calibration at 1x106 beads per mL. Typically the average result value of five measurements is compared with the nominal value on the "Certificate of analysis". Calibration frequency depends strongly on throughput as well as internal calibration and QA practice of each customer and location.

Control Beads
Control beads are designed for frequent examinations to verify whether a Cedex cell analyzer is in the required condition for reliable operation. Three different densities are offered to allow for the verification of the linearity of the results.

Cedex Calibration Beads
Cedex cell analyzers provide automated focus and brightness adjustment routines that are performed with Cedex Calibration Beads. The Calibration Beads are used to adjust the microscope stage position to the best focus quality and, if necessary, correct the default settings for the illumination intensity. The complete routine is explained in the Cedex manual. The duration of the whole procedure is approximately 15 minutes.

Cedex HiRes Reagent Kit
The Reagent Kit contains all liquids and solutions which are necessary for staining and analyzing eukaryotic cells with a Cedex system. A waste container is also included. The advantage of a ready-to-use kit is obvious: no handling of harmful chemicals – no mixing and stirring of trypan blue – no efforts with GMP requirements – and a waste container which is easy to dispose securely.

Cedex Detergent
The Cedex Detergent is needed for cleaning the capillary system of the Cedex analyzers. The ready-to-use solution is available not only as a component of the Reagent Kit, but also in a separate bottle. Certainly - it is also certified!
